A socio-economic geographer and assistant professor at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
Her academic interests focus on local and regional development. In particular, she specializes in analyzing development interventions financed by European Union funds in both urban and rural areas. She has experience in desk and field research on post-industrial areas, particularly in examining disparities in human and social capital development.
She has been involved in drafting development strategy documents at the local government level and has conducted public consultations on strategic documents. Additionally, she serves as Vice President of an association that promotes an active lifestyle for individuals of all ages on a regional scale. Her personal experience includes observing local development from the perspective of non-governmental organizations.
